The DH34 engine offers a mild hybrid solution with a compact and high-performance design. The package is built using a 3.4-liter, 4-cylinder combustion engine combined with a 20 kW electric motor.
Three versions are under design:
- DH34 without SCR
Using the 55kW combustion engine with the electrical motor, it delivers a total peak power of 75 kW. Because the engine’s power remains below 56kW, no catalytic converter (SCR) is required, eliminating the need for AdBlue.
- DH34 with SCR
The DH34 with SCR will become available with two power ratings; 101 kW plus 20kW and 120kW plus 20kW. Designed for a variety of industrial applications, this DH34 emphasizes efficiency and durability. It offers a 5% to 10% savings on fuel and AdBlue (depending on the application).
The DH34 mild hybrid solution is particularly well-suited for applications that demand reliable, continuous operation under challenging conditions.
The DH24E is a full hybrid 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine that can operate fully electrically up to 55 kW. This engine does not require SCR, eliminating the need for AdBlue.
Using this full hybrid solution results in better average loading, which leads to lower fuel consumption. Peak loads are managed by the battery, and depending on the application, there is at least a 30% reduction in fuel and AdBlue usage.
HYUNDAI provides both hardware and software for this engine, with batteries being optional.
The DX08 is a 7,5. litre, 6-cylinder engine featuring either a twin-stage turbo or a WGT turbo, depending on the power. It is designed to meet the rigorous demands of heavy-duty applications. This engine stands out for its robust performance, high torque, and compliance with stringent environmental regulations, such as the EU’s Stage V emission standards.
The engine’s performance is further enhanced by a turbocharger, which improves efficiency and power output. Its direct fuel injection system ensures optimal fuel atomization and combustion, contributing to enhanced fuel economy.
Versatile and suitable for a range of applications, the DX08 is primarily used in heavy-duty construction equipment, industrial machinery, and agricultural vehicles. Its high power and reliability also make it adaptable for other demanding uses.
