Compared to the current 4,5L single turbo engine, the JD4 fratures a 20% to 30% reduction in package size and a more than 100 kg reduction in weight. The JD4 features a rear gear train that offers low noise and higher PTO power. Also, there is a durable in-line aftertreatment system with fewer connection points than the current 4,5L generation for ease of application integration.
