The JD18 marine engine introduces a new era in power equipped to provide uncompromising power. Higher duty cycles and more power than the 13.5L with an excellent fuel economy.

The JD18 is equipped with an independent cooling for jacket water and after cooling system. . Additionally, a high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel system will optimize the fluid consumption and helps boosting the fuel economy of the JD18. Longer oil change intervals up to 500 hours and standard front side service makes oil and filter maintenance easy.

Application: commercial fishing, passenger vessels and tugboat markets.

This marine engine is designed to deliver uncompromising power, enhanced fuel efficiency and ease of service. The JD14P model will offer a power range of 298-448 KW (400-600 hp) and the JD14X model will offer a power range of 523- 599 kW (700 – 803 hp).

The marine engine is equipped with higher duty cycles, giving more power to the application than John Deere 13.5L models. Additionally, an electronic high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel system will optimize the fluid consumption and helps boosting the fuel economy of the JD14.

Application: passenger vessels, pilot boats, and various workboat and pleasure craft applications.
